Talisker 8 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Special Releases 2020 This daring Talisker release is the first to be finished in pot-still Caribbean Rum casks from a malt rich in maritime character. They also resurrected the sea fragrances and peppery style of the vibrant character of this Skye distillery with a rich, dark, and exotic warmer environment. This term is highly restricted in the Diageo Special Releases 2020 range.
The nose is light, with maritime and sweet notes on the top layer; from beneath molasses and demerara sugar come and have an effect on Rum casks. Before a Talisk pepperiness takes over the palate, expect an initial gentle and smooth texture; a touch of water suppresses rich sweetness.
