Peroni Nastro Azzurro is an Italian pale lager produced by Peroni Brewery, founded in Vigevano, Lombardy. The 5.1% abv beer was first brewed in 1963 and is now distributed internationally.

Nastro Azzurro translates to "Blue Ribbon" in English, referring to the blue ribbon won by the Peroni family at a Royal Household exhibition in Turin back in 1837.

The Peroni Brewing Company was founded in 1846 by Francesco Peroni in Vigevano, Italy. In those early days, Peroni supplied local restaurants and hotels with beer produced in their small brewery. As demand for Peroni grew, so did the size of the brewery, and today Peroni is one of Italy's most popular beers.

Peroni Nastro Azzurro is a premium lager that is light in color and has a delicate balance of bitterness, citrus and floral aromas. The beer is best enjoyed chilled and pairs well with Italian food.

There are three main types of Peroni Nastro Azzurro:

- Peroni Nastro Azzurro

- Peroni Leggera

- Peroni Gran Riserva

Peroni Nastro Azzurro is the original recipe and has a 5.1% ABV. It is light in color with a delicate balance of bitterness, citrus and floral aromas.

Peroni Leggera is a light beer with a 4.2% ABV. It has a light body and is low in calories.

Peroni Gran Riserva is a dark beer that is aged for 90 days. It has a 6.0% ABV and pairs well with red meat dishes.

No matter which Peroni Nastro Azzurro you choose, you are sure to enjoy a refreshing, premium Italian beer.
