Like other classic Amaris this herbal liqueur is traditionally drunk as an after-dinner digestif. Dozens of varieties are commercially produced, the most commonly available of which are Averna, Ramazzotti and Montenegro. Nonino’s is infused with alpine herbs and tangerines, aged in barriques of Nevers, Limousin and old Sherry wood. It makes a great aperitif over ice or chilled from the fridge with a wedge of orange.
