Beenleigh White Rum is a rum produced in Australia. It is made using a blend of molasses and sugarcane juice, and has a clean, crisp flavor with notes of vanilla and caramel. The rum is aged for six months in American oak barrels before being bottled.
The history of this rum dates back to the early 1800s when it was first distilled in Beenleigh, Queensland. The Beenleigh Distillery was founded in 1884, and today it is one of the oldest operating distilleries in the country. The rum gets its name from the town of Beenleigh, located in Queensland, where the distillery is situated.
Tasting Notes: Beenleigh White Rum has a smooth, creamy texture with a sweetness that is balanced by a slight bitterness. The flavor is dominated by notes of vanilla and caramel, with a hint of oakiness from the barrel aging. The finish is long and clean, with a lingering sweetness.
