Resch's Lager is a unique Australian beer that has been around for over 125 years. It is made with a blend of malt and hops, and is best enjoyed cold. Here are some recipes to help you enjoy Resch's Lager to the fullest:
Resch's Lager BBQ Sauce
Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 Resch's Lager
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté onions and garlic in a little oil until softened. Add the Resch's Lager, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
Store in a jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Resch's Lager Chili
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 Resch's Lager
1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz)
1 can black beans (15 oz), rinsed and drained
1 can corn (15 oz), drained
1 teaspoon chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic and bell pepper, and sauté until soft. Add the Resch's Lager, tomatoes, black beans, corn, chili powder, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve with shredded cheese and sour cream on top.
Resch's Lager Ice Cream Float
Ingredients:
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 Resch's Lager
Caramel sauce (optional)
Instructions:
Add the ice cream to a glass. Pour in the Resch's Lager and stir gently to combine. Top with caramel sauce if desired. Enjoy!
