The company has since been family-owned and -operated, and today, Church Road is one of the most respected wineries in the country.
The Church Road Pinot Gris 750 ml is sourced from vineyards in the Awatere Valley, Marlborough. This region is known for its cool climate and long, dry summers, which are ideal conditions for producing high-quality Pinot Gris grapes. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and then aged for six months in French oak barrels.
This Church Road Pinot Gris has a pale straw color and aromas of pear, honeysuckle, and spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with flavors of ripe stone fruit, citrus, and a touch of minerality. The wine has good acidity and a long, smooth finish.
