Milagro Tequila is made in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico. The distillery has been in operation for over a hundred years and Milagro is one of the most popular tequilas in the world. It is a silver tequila with a smooth, peppery taste. Milagro can be enjoyed on the rocks, neat, or in cocktails. Did you know that Milagro means "miracle" in Spanish? The distillery was founded by Don Tiburcio Asiain in 1892. He was known as a healer and people would come from all over to seek his help. They believed that he had miraculous powers and that's where the name Milagro came from. There are a number of Milagro cocktails that you can try. One of our favourites is the Milagro Margarita. It's a classic margarita made with Milagro tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur. Here's how to make it: Ingredients: - 1 1/2 ounces Milagro Tequila - 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice - 1/2 ounce orange liqueur - Salt for rimming glass - Lime wedge for garnish Instructions: 1. Rim a chilled glass with salt. 2. In a shaker filled with ice, combine Milagro Tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur. 3. Shake well and strain into the rimmed glass. 4. Garnish with a lime wedge.
