Merlet Apricot Brandy 700ml

Merlet Apricot Brandy 700ml is a French liqueur made from apricots. It is produced in the region of Auvergne-Rh´ne-Alpes. The history of Merlet can be traced back to 1834, when Jean-Baptiste Merlet, a distiller from the village of Saint-Laurent-d'Oingt, began distilling fruit brandies. In the early 1900s, his son Eugne took over the family business and began experimenting with different fruit brandies.

In particular, he developed a passion for apricot brandy.

Today, Merlet Apricot Brandy 700ml continues to be produced using Eugne's original recipe. The brandy is made with a blend of two types of apricots, the Bletterman and the Belle de Nancy. The fruits are macerated in eau-de-vie for several months before being distilled.

This results in a smooth, well-rounded liqueur with notes of fresh apricot, almond and vanilla. Merlet Apricot Brandy 700ml is perfect for enjoying on its own or as an accompaniment to dessert.
