The history of Legent dates back to the early 19th century, when distiller James Beauregard Legent founded the original distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. The distillery was later acquired by Beam Suntory in 2014.
Legent bourbon is made using a unique blend of bourbons and rye whiskies, which are then aged for at least two years in new oak barrels. This process gives Legent its distinctive flavor profile, which features notes of vanilla, oak and spice.
