Glenmorangie is named after the valley in which it lies, and was founded by William Matheson. He wanted to create a whisky that would be enjoyable for both beginners and veterans alike; an excellent drink regardless of your experience level or taste preference!
In 1843 when he opened this distillery on banks near Dornoch Firth-with its bucolic landscapes nothing could ever disrupt those tirelessly crafted bottles transporting their smoothness far away into all four corners.
