Bombay Original London Dry Gin is a classic London dry gin that has been produced in the city since the early 1800s. The Bombay name comes from the city of Bombay (now Mumbai), India, where the company's founder, Sir James Pyke, first started distilling gin.
The Bombay Dry Gin is made using a traditional recipe that includes juniper berries, coriander seeds, and fresh citrus peel. This gives the gin its distinctively clean and crisp flavor. Bombay Dry Gin is perfect for enjoying neat or in your favorite cocktail.
Cocktail Recipes:
- Bombay Sapphire Martini: Combine 2 ounces of Bombay Sapphire, 1 ounce of dry vermouth, and a dash of orange bitters in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
- Bombay Bramble: Combine 1 ounce of Bombay Dry Gin, 1 ounce of fresh lemon juice, 1 ounce of simple syrup, and ½ ounce of crème de mure in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a blackberry.
- Bombay Sunset: Combine 2 ounces of Bombay Dry Gin, 1 ounce of orange juice, ½ ounce of grenadine, and dash of Angostura bitters in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.
