The Dewar's brand was founded by John Dewar in 1846. Dewar was born in Scotland and started his career as a wine and spirit merchant. In 1846, he established his own company called A. Dewar & Sons. The company initially focused on selling wine and spirits, but later began bottling and selling its own products.
In 1899, Dewar's was acquired by John Walker & Sons, which was later acquired by Diageo in 2013. Today, Dewar's is one of the best-selling Scotch whisky brands in the world.
Dewar's Signature Blend Scotch Whisky has a light and sweet flavor with notes of citrus and honey. It is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
