Colour: Red with medium depth and a bright crimson hue.
Nose: A vibrant bouquet of juicy raspberries, dried strawberries, fig and slight floral hints of clove and lavender.
Palate: The palate starts lush with Grenache fruits, filling the mouth, however still medium bodied and elegant. After the first fill of fruit leaves the palate, the wines elegant and fine minerality/tannin line reveals, giving the wine great length. A vibrant and vivid palate demonstrating Grenaches intrinsic vibrancy and elegance.
Winemakers Comments
2019 was a dry but generally mild vintage, especially well-suited to Grenache. Allowing this late ripening variety to achieve full flavour ripeness without an excessively high Baume. An excellent Grenache year demonstrating the lovely purity of fruit from DOWIE DOOLEs 53 year old bush vine Grenache.

Drink young and fresh to enjoy the vibrant Grenache fruit, however will cellar for up to 10+ years from those wanting more complexity.
