Brancott Estate is a winery located in Marlborough, New Zealand. The Brancott Estate wine range includes Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay wines. Brancott Estate was founded in 1973 by Peter Brancott and Terry Peabody. The Brancott Estate vineyards are planted on the slopes of the Brancott Valley in Marlborough.
The first Brancott Estate vineyard was planted in 1974 with Sauvignon Blanc vines. The first vintage of Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc was produced in 1980. The Brancott Estate Pinot Noir vineyard was planted in 1977 and the first vintage of Brancott Estate Pinot Noir was produced in 1985. The Brancott Estate Chardonnay vineyard was planted in 1980 and the first vintage of Brancott Estate Chardonnay was produced in 1988.
Brancott Estate wines are exported to over 40 countries around the world. Brancott Estate is part of the Pernod Ricard wine portfolio.
