The Barossa Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon is our modern interpretation of this classic Australian style. Rich and generous flavours of Shiraz combine with the elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon. Shiraz aromas include ripe plum and cherry, followed by the leafy, cedary spice and red currant aromas of Cabernet Sauvignon. The palate is rich and very generous, yet soft and supple with a long, lingering finish. The wine was matured for eight months in 16 percent new French, Hungarian and American oak with the balance in older French, American and Hungarian oak.
