Del Maguey Crema de Mezcal is a premium mezcal made in the Oaxaca region of Mexico. It is made from a blend of different agave varieties, including the rare Tepeztate agave. The mezcal is produced using traditional methods and is aged for a minimum of two years in oak barrels. Del Maguey Crema de Mezcal has a smooth, rich flavor with notes of fruit and spice. It is perfect for sipping neat or as an ingredient in cocktails.
Del Maguey Crema de Mezcal was created by mezcal expert David Suro-Pi±era. Suro-Pi±era is the founder of Del Maguey Single Village Mezcals, a company that is dedicated to producing premium mezcals made in traditional ways. Del Maguey Crema de Mezcal is made at the Del Maguey distillery in the village of San Luis del Rio. The agave plants used to make the mezcal are grown in the surrounding mountains and valleys.
The Del Maguey Crema de Mezcal 750ml bottle has a sleek, modern design. The label features a painting of an agave plant by Oaxacan artist Lalo Garcia. Garcias art is inspired by the traditions of his home state.
Del Maguey Crema de Mezcal is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks. It can also be used in cocktails in place of tequila or other mezcals. Try it in a Margarita, Paloma, or Mezcal Mule.
