Chivas Regal 12 YO Blended Scotch Whisky 700ml

Chivas Regal is a brand of blended Scotch whisky, owned by Pernod Ricard. The company's flagship product is Chivas Regal 12 Year Old, a blend of many different malt and grain whiskies which is aged for at least 12 years.

The company was founded in 1801 by brothers John and James Chivas, who began selling luxury goods such as spirits and cigars from their shop in Aberdeen, Scotland. In the early days, the brothers focused on stocking only the finest quality products, including whisky from the Highland region.

By the 1860s, the business had become so successful that they opened a new purpose-built premises on King Street. This was followed by a second store in London in 1885. The company continued to grow throughout the early 20th century, and by 1909 they were selling 1,000 cases of whisky per year.

During the 1920s, Chivas Regal was the first Scotch whisky to be exported to the US, and it quickly became popular among America's elite. The brand continued to enjoy success in the US market throughout the following decades, becoming one of the most iconic Scotch whiskies in the world.

Today, Chivas Regal is sold in over 100 countries and is one of the best-selling Scotch whiskies in the world. The 12 Year Old expression is widely considered to be the flagship product, and it remains hugely popular among whisky drinkers across Australia.
