The London Distillery Company was founded in 2012 by Darren Rook and Lyndon Horsfall. The company's first product was Dodd's Gin, which was launched in 2013. The gin is named after John Dodds, who was the distiller at the London Distillery Company from 1811 to 1816.

Dodds Gin is made using a blend of 11 botanicals, including juniper, coriander, citrus peel and liquorice. The gin is distilled in a traditional pot still and is bottled at 42% ABV.

The London Distillery Company is based in Battersea, south-west London. The company also has a distillery in Lambeth, which is open to the public for tours and tastings.

The company's products have won a number of awards, including a Gold Medal at the International Wine and Spirit Competition in 2013 and a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2014.
