Tanqueray No. 10 is a high-strength gin that was first introduced in 2000. It is distilled four times and has a higher alcohol content than other gins on the market. The gin is flavoured with juniper, coriander, angelica root, liquorice, orange peel, and lemon peel. Tanqueray No. 10 has a strong juniper flavour with a citrusy finish.
Tanqueray No. 10 was created by Master Distiller Charles Tanqueray in the 1830s. The gin was originally produced at the distillery in Bloomsbury, London. In 1999, the brand was acquired by Diageo, and production was moved to Scotland.
Tanqueray No. 10 is a popular gin for cocktails and is used in many classic recipes such as the Martini, Negroni, and Tom Collins. The gin can also be enjoyed on its own or with tonic water and a slice of lemon or lime.
