Sugar and Spice Wines is an Australian wine label that produces both red and white wines. The company was founded in 2006 by husband and wife team, David and Julie McNamee.
The couple met while working in the wine industry in their native Australia. They soon recognized their shared passion for making great wines and decided to start their own label.
The Sugar and Spice Wines label focuses on producing high-quality, food-friendly wines. The wines are made from a variety of grape varieties, including Shiraz, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chenin Blanc.
The McNamees use traditional winemaking techniques, such as barrel aging and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. This results in wines that are well-rounded and have complex flavor profiles.
The Sugar and Spice Wines label has won several awards, including a Gold Medal at the Australian Wine Showcase and a Bronze Medal at the International Wine Challenge.
