The fermentation process takes place in washbacks made of Oregon pine. Caol Ila 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml is then distilled in copper pot stills and matured in oak casks for at least twelve years.
This whisky has a light gold color with greenish hues. The nose is fresh with notes of citrus fruits and sea breeze. There are also hints of peat smoke and malt. The palate is medium-bodied with a creamy texture. The flavors include lemon, honey, and vanilla. There is also a smoky undertone with a bit of pepperiness on the finish.
