Mount Horrocks Wines is a family-owned business that has been making wine in the Clare Valley since 1857. The Mount Horrocks estate was one of the first planted in the Clare Valley and Mount Horrocks Wines is now run by the great-great-granddaughter of founder Christopher Rawson Penfold.
The Mount Horrocks vineyards are located in the southern end of the Clare Valley, an area with a long history of grape growing and winemaking. The climate here is cool and dry, with warm days and cool nights - perfect for growing Riesling grapes.
