Goose Island IPA is an India Pale Ale, this is a great example of a hop lover’s dream. Based on a traditional English style, a fuller flavoured IPA with bright citrus aromas and a bold hop finish. Perfect beer for hopheads and discovery drinkers alike.
Brewed with Pale, Munich & Light Crystal malts, Cascade, Centennial, Pilgrim, Styrian Celeia and Goose Island ale yeast.
The bright fruity, citrus hop aroma and light crystal malt notes transition well into the palate. Good integration of a rich malty mid palate and assertive bitterness provides a lingering, bold hop finish that is balanced and well rounded.
Recommended Food Match - Indian curries – strong hop flavours go well with spices like tamarind, cardamom and coriander.
Grilled meats – the caramelised crust on grilled meat draws out the caramel malt in the beer, whilst hop flavour and bitterness provide a savoury contrast.
