G’Vine Nouaison Gin is a unique French gin that is distilled in the Cognac region. The history of G’Vine dates back to the early 1800s, when Jean-Sebastien Robicquet created the first distillery in the town of Cognac. The company has been passed down through five generations of the Robicquet family and continues to produce high-quality spirits.
The name “Nouaison” comes from the French word for “new wine”, which is fitting given that this gin is made with grapes that are grown in the Cognac region. The grape varietals used are Ugni Blanc, Colombard, and Folle Blanche. These grapes are fermented and then distilled in copper stills.
The resulting spirit is a delicate gin with floral and citrus notes. It is perfect for enjoying on its own or in a classic gin cocktail.
