Don Papa rum is a brand of rum produced in the Philippines. It is made from sugar cane and is aged in oak barrels for seven years. The rum is named after Don Emilio Aguinaldo, the first president of the Philippines.

There are three types of Don Papa rum: Don Papa 10, Don Papa 7, and Don Papa 3.

Don Papa 10 is the flagship rum and is made from sugar cane that is distilled three times and then aged for seven years in oak barrels.

Don Papa 7 is made from sugar cane that is distilled twice and then aged for seven years in oak barrels.

Don Papa 3 is made from sugar cane that is distilled once and then aged for three years in oak barrels.

Don Papa rum is produced in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines. The rum is distilled at the Del Maguey distillery in Toledo, Cebu.

The history of Don Papa rum begins in the 19th century, when sugar cane was first brought to the Philippines by Spanish colonists. Sugar cane quickly became an important crop in the Philippines and was used to make a variety of products, including rum.

In 2012, don Papa rum was created by Stephen Carroll and Edith Cuenco. The rum is named after don Emilio Aguinaldo, the first president of the Philippines.
