Delord Armagnac can be enjoyed on its own, or it can be used in cocktails. Some popular Delord cocktails include the Delord Sidecar, Delord Margarita, and Delord Old Fashioned.
Here are two recipes for drinks made with Delord Armagnac:
Delord Sidecar
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Delord Armagnac
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz triple sec
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice.
2. Shake well and strain into a chilled glass.
3. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Delord Margarita
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Delord Armagnac
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 oz triple sec
- salt for rimming the glass (optional)
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice.
2. Rim a glass with salt, if desired.
3. Shake well and strain into the prepared glass.
4. Garnish with a lime wedge.
Delord Armagnac can also be enjoyed neat or on the rocks. If you are enjoying it neat, it is best to use a snifter glass so that you can fully appreciate the aroma of the Armagnac. If you are enjoying it on the rocks, you can use a rocks glass. Delord Armagnac is best served at room temperature.
